Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (April 16, 1971 – March 31, 1995), known as "The Queen of Tejano music" is buried here. Many people visit her grave to pay their respects each year. As you drive into the cemetery, turn left at the first road and follow it almost to the end and she is located on the right hand side of the road.
