The East side of Dagger Island is a well known local hotspot. The grassy flats on this side of the Island drop off into much deeper water. This drop-off is good for trout in the spring, summer and early fall. The flats are good for redfish from late spring to late fall. There are also several channels and cuts in the area that are worth checking out.
