Keller Bay is a shallow, often muddy bay with grassy shorelines. These shorelines can be good for gigging flounder most of the year. It may also be good to wade or kayak the shorelines during the spring and fall for trout and redfish. The southern portions of the bay are usually the best. This area is good for wade fishing. Wade fishing can be very rewarding but can also can be dangerous for the inexperienced angler. Watch out for holes, drop-offs, soft bottoms, oyster shells and stingrays and respect private property.
