The Port Isabel Historical Museum is housed in the historic Champion Building which was built in 1899. The museum features numerous hands on exhibits, audio presentations and videos that explore the history of the Port Isabel area.
The Port Isabel Historical Museum, The Treasures of the Gulf Museum and the historic Point Isabel Lighthouse are all part of the same complex. A special admission price allows access to all 3 sites and they are within walking distance of each other.
