Rockport-Fulton Area
Including Lamar, Bayside,
Aransas Bay and Copano Bay
Rockport is a small coastal community surrounded by Aransas and Copano Bays on three sides. It has been a popular resort destination since the late 1800's. Fulton is its smaller neighbor and the two are referred to as Rockport-Fulton.
Dont come here expecting to find a lot of springbreakers, this area is more quiet and peaceful than many of the waterfront towns on the Texas Coast.
Rockport-Fulton is well-known for the beautiful windswept Oaks that dot the landscape. Some of the other major attractions of Rockport are its thriving artist's community, access to great fishing, an award winning beach and one of the best birding areas in North America. There are also numerous art galleries, shops, great restaurants, museums and an aquarium.
