Description: Sandbar Sharks have a broadly rounded nose and is short. The first dorsal fin is triangular and very tall. It has a poorly developed dermal ridge between the dorsal fins. It is brown or gray in color with a white underside. The upper and lower teeth finely serrated. Generally found nearshore during cooler months. |
