Description: Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks have a slender body, a long and flattened snout, a white trailing edge of the pectoral and black-edged dorsal and caudal fins. They may have small whitish spots on their sides. There are furrows in the lips at the corners of the mouth. The outer margin of the teeth are notched. The second dorsal fin originates over the middle of the anal fin. They are brown to olive-gray with a white underside. |
