Camp Lula Sams is the site of an old Girl Scout Camp. This wooded area is now a wildlife refuge and teaching camp for school children. There are a few cabins that may be rented out. The grounds are home to a healthy population of Texas Tortoises and other reptiles, three species of native cats, and many of the Valley's specialty birds.
The site is access restricted. Fee schedules vary with group size. Call ahead. Camp Lula Sams
